STEP 1. The first thing you are going to draw out is the body framing for the horseman's horse. Start by making the shape for the snout, and head. Next, draw a neck line, and connect the neck to another larger circle shape for the chest of the horse, and then another shape for the back end of the horse. Connect the two shapes with a back and stomach line too. Lastly, draw the limb lines. STEP 2. Now you can use the frame you just drew, and start sketching out the shape of the horse's head, and neck. The next thing you want to do is draw the lining for the legs, and stomach like you see here. Notice how the outline of the horse's mouth is wide open. STEP 3. As you can see your horse is going to be just about finished in this step. All you have to do is draw out the ears, and the flaming mane. Continue to draw out the back, behind, back and front legs, and then the hooves. Add an evil looking eye, nostril holes, and a row of teeth. STEP 4. Finish off the horse by drawing out the tail, and the flaming horse hair on the back of the front and back legs like so. When the horse is all done, you can start drawing out the Headless Horseman. Start by sketching out the shape of the body, and or coat, and don't forget to draw in the horse's bridle. STEP 5. Continue to draw out the Horseman's body like you see here, and then draw out the flowing cape. Once that is done, draw or sketch out the arm, the shape of the pumpkin head, and then sketch out the clothing like the shoulder pad that is part of the cloak or cape. STEP 6. For your last drawing step, all you need to do is draw out the detailing and definition on the riders clothes. For instance, the shoulder pad or plate needs to have some eyes, nose, and teeth drawn on it, and the pumpkin needs to have some detailing drawn to it as well. Draw in the printed lines on the pants, and draw the boots, horse saddle, and add some definition to the cape, and horse bridle. Erase all the lines and shapes you drew in step one. STEP 7. When you are done, your scary drawing should come out looking like the one you see here. Color in this ghostly character, and you are all set.
