"We would've obviously loved to end the year with a win, but we really had a great weekend and to come away with a third-place finish, we'll take it," Cosner said. "It was also really cool to have Eddie Carrier Jr. in a team car as well as Kurt, Brent, Paul, Eddie, and Noah from Rocket Chassis there helping us at the track. It was a fun final race of the season, and now we're already preparing for next year."

Matt Cosner visited Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) on Friday afternoon to enter his R.H. Lapp Mechanical Contractors No. 66c Late Model into battle in the opening round of the fourth annual Keystone Cup.

Drawing 43 Late Models for a pair of preliminary features leading up to Saturday's finale, Cosner clocked in ninth-fastest in his group before placing sixth in his prelim.

Rolling off 12th on the grid for Saturday night's $25,000-to-win Keystone Cup, Matt advanced forward nine spots in the 60-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He trailed Max Blair and Jeff Rine to the checkers with Gregg Satterlee and Kyle Lee rounding out the Top-5 finishers.

Matt Cosner Racing also fielded a secondary entry for Eddie Carrier Jr., which saw the veteran racer place 17th in his preliminary feature on Friday before missing a transfer spot by one position in his B-Main on Saturday.

October 10, 2021 - Cosner follows LOLMDS to Peach State for doubleheader at Dixie and Rome

After Mother Nature nixed the second attempt of the Mountain Moonshine Classic on Friday at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.), Matt Cosner returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) for the Dixie Shootout. July 24, 2021 - I-80 Nationals and Silver Dollar Nationals bring Cosner to I-80 Speedway

Matt Cosner returned to action on Tuesday afternoon as he made the trek to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) to kick off five consecutive nights of racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Drawing 43 cars for the I-80 Nationals prelim, Matt recorded a second-place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place third or better to make the feature, Cosner recorded a fifth-place finish.

For another $7,000-to-win preliminary feature on Wednesday with passing points aligning the lineup, Cosner followed up a third-place finish in his heat with a 10-lap consolation victory. Rolling off 19th, Matt gained three spots in the 30-lapper to finish 16th.

With preliminary results from Tuesday and Wednesday setting the grid for the $30,000-to-win I-80 Nationals on Thursday evening, Matt rolled off on the pole of his B-Main for another chance at the show. June 26, 2021 - Matt Cosner steals $3,000 victory at Hagerstown Speedway

Sometimes a little bit of luck doesn't hurt, and such was the case for Matt Cosner on Saturday evening at Maryland's Hagerstown Speedway. Inheriting the lead late in the race, when the frontrunners tangled, Cosner led the final three circuits to claim the $3,000 winner's check aboard his LINE-X® No. 66c Nelson Auto Sales/ R.H. Lapp Mechanical Contractors/ Rocket Chassis/ Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model.

The victory, which came in the Tex Shaffer Memorial, marked Cosner's second of the year.

"We definitely didn't have the best car tonight but sometimes it is better to be lucky than good," Cosner said. "I knew with only three laps to go that I had a great shot of holding them off, and I was able to do it. I'm very happy to get another win in our LINE-X® Rocket Chassis. Thanks to all who support the 66c."

Saturday night found Matt Cosner in action at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.), where he was making his lone start of the weekend behind the wheel of the Nelson Auto Sales No. 66c LINE-X® Late Model. After topping the speed charts in time trials, Cosner streaked to a heat race win, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the Tex Shaffer Memorial A-Main.

Inheriting the lead late in the race after the two frontrunners were collected in a tangle, Matt raced to his second win of the season, which came over Justin Weaver, Marvin Winters, Kenny Moreland, and Barry Miller. He pocketed $3,000 for the victory.

June 18, 2021 - Clash at the Mag brings Cosner to Magnolia Motor Speedway

Matt Cosner made the trek to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Thursday afternoon to enter his LINE-X® No. 66c Late Model into battle for the 13th annual Optima Batteries Clash at the Mag. With 44 Late Models on hand for the event sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Matt posted the fourth fastest time in his group but faded back in his heat to finish sixth. November 5, 2020 - Cosner attends the Last Call at the Dirt Track at Charlotte

After Covid-19 restrictions postponed the Can-Am World Finals to 2021, Matt Cosner invaded the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Wednesday afternoon for the Last Call. In a stout field of 55 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Cosner recorded a fifth place finish in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking in the Top 2, Matt came one spot short with a third place outing.

October 24, 2020 - Matt Cosner scores seventh place finish in Keystone Cup at Bedford Speedway

Friday night saw Matt Cosner return to action at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) to take part in the third annual Keystone Cup. Drawing 35 Late Models for the two-day event, Matt followed up the fifth fastest lap in his time trial group with a third place finish in his preliminary feature. October 10, 2020 - Cosner cruises to first career ULMS victory at Greater Cumberland Raceway

Matt Cosner put on a dominating performance Saturday to earn his first-career Zimmer's United Late Model Series victory.

Cosner's second trip to the winner's circle this season came aboard his Nelson Auto Sales No. 66c R.H. Lapp Mechanical Contractors/ Rocket Chassis/ Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model at the Greater Cumberland (Md.) Raceway.

"Nothing is better than a hometown win," Cosner said. "It's great to get our first ULMS victory. It got a little dicey there in lapped traffic, but we had a great car and was able to get the job done. We're going to take this weekend off to get ready for Bedford next week."

In a field of 21 cars, Cosner secured his spot into the main event with a heat race victory. Earning the pole position, Matt set a comfortable pace out front for the first half of the race until lapped traffic became a factor.

Flawlessly navigating his way through lapped traffic throughout the 30-lapper, Matt cruised to his second win of the season over Trever Feathers, Max Blair, Ryan Montgomery, and Gregg Satterlee. Tallying his first career ULMS win, Cosner earned a $3,000 payday.

October 3, 2020 - Cosner attends Nittany 50 at Clinton County Speedway

Saturday night saw Matt Cosner return to action at Clinton County Speedway (Mill Hall, Pa.) for the Nittany 50. Drawing 40 cars, Matt laid down the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group before placing third in his heat race. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Cosner was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 42.
